Play a reading book
Inspired by a book, Sjors & Ruud theatermakers create a dazzling performance on location. First, a passage from the book is read aloud so everyone knows the story. Then, the actors create the performance together with the children, rehearse, and perform for the parents. The book is chosen based on the location, event, or occasion.
Participatory Theatre.
The show is created together with the audience. The children's input and imagination are used to produce a slightly different show every time. In this way, the audience participates in creating and performing this Sjors & Ruud show. It stimulates language development, as words are made physical.
Target group.
Family show, for everyone aged 8 and up.
Duration.
40 minutes
Reading book.
For example, tie in with Children's Book Week, the theme of the event, or be a personal choice by Sjors & Ruud.

Conditions/technique.
Stage size depends on the number of attendees, minimum 4 x 2 meters (W x D). Flexible for use in all types of spaces.
Electricity required for speaker with laptop connection – we will bring this with us.
Microphones with sound system: These are required for performances with more than 60 attendees and/or in noisy venues. Cost: €120.
Assembly time: 30 minutes
